The results of the 2024 Boys State elections are in. After days of caucuses between the Federalists and Nationalists, the two parties came together on July 1st with their nominees for each position, and the citizens of Boys State voted for those candidates to fill the positions. Below is a look at every position that was up for election on July 1st:

Federalist Nolan Reinhardt (#0382) – 57.8%
Nationalist Daniel Rivas (#0049) – 42.2%
Lieutenant Governor:
Federalist Daniel Lynch (#0168) – 53.1%
Nationalist Aidan Moodley (#0211) – 46.9%
Attorney General:
Federalist John Smithie (#0250) – 35.7%
Nationalist Xinxu Li (#0287) – 64.3%
Comptroller:
Federalist James Farley (#0214) – 31%
Nationalist Craig Eng (#0565) – 69%
Judges of Court of Appeals (winners):
Nationalist Muhammad Ahmed (#0651) (Chief Judge) – 64.9%

Proposition #1 – Be it resolved that the Legion Posts work with delegates of Boys State to engineer effective orientations by creating a standard video and powerpoint detailing positions and procedures of Boys State, providing the necessary resources like the current year’s edition of the Boys State Program.

Proposition #2 – Be it resolved that the Billion Oyster Project that is currently producing the results it designed for be expanded and replicated for other areas facing the same issue, with the funding being used to enable higher participation toward the program in additional waterways.
Yes: 80.8%
No: 19.2%
Proposition #3 – Be it resolved that the Regents are being phased out in the private sector, and are commonly treated as finals in the public school system. Increased funding allows the Regents to be “revamped” by offering varying tests in multiple fields of standard and specialized education.
Yes: 53.4%
No: 46.6%
Proposition #4 – Be it resolved that the Boys State Executive Board reorganizes the Boys State program at the program level in ways that will include all the Boys State schedules having a common place.
Yes: 82.5%
No: 17.5%
