June 26th, the Boy’s State Delegates arrive at the SUNY Morrisville campus to begin their week.
Boys unload their gear from the buses before preparing for their first night at SUNY Morrisville.
This is an example of one of the letters home that all Boys must hand in on their finish day to be admitted into the Dinner Hall.
Here the Boys report to dinner for the first time, but only after writing and handing in their letters home first.
As the Boys attend their first assembly at Boys’ State, the President of SUNY Morrisville provides uplifting words of wisdom that can apply to success within the program and later in life.
The Boy’s State Delegates will continue to learn the duties and processes that the government go through and will leave having learned discipline and more about the political process that what they knew upon arrival.
