Between approximately 12 and 2 pm Sunday afternoon, nearly 1000 boys arrived at a beautiful SUNY Morrisville campus welcomed by a clear sunny day and American Legionnaires and United States Marines ready for a week full of learning and hard work. Boys were immediately given 2 Boys’ State shirts, a Boys’ State pen and water bottle, as well as an important pin serving as identification for the entirety of the camp. Overall, reception was smooth and quick, and helped the boys prepare for what lies in the week ahead.
