On June 28, 2026, the party elections for the nationalist party lasted for over 3 hours in the night. In a dramatic evening full of cheering and passionate speeches, three citizens were chosen through a democracy to be the clerk, secretary, and chairman of the nationalist party.

To start off, delegate Rory Heywood (0505) of Wong County was elected to be the clerk for the nationalist party. A person characterized by his efficiency, strong arithmetic skills, and experience with leadership through activities such as eagle scouts, Haywood amazed the audience with his confidence and successfully garnered the majority votes in only the second round of voting between 5 counties. “We don’t need to be sitting here at this assembly hall until 11 at night!” Remarks such as this eventually led him to receive over 158 votes.

Next up on that night for the secretary position, delegate James Abrams III (0415) of Scheiberling impressed the whole party with his blazing attitude, energetic presence, and desire for the truth. Nicknamed by his party as “Skittles” and fueled by his fitting motto of “Taste the Rainbow,” this delegate never backed down nor questioned himself for even one second. The trajectory of the election for the secretary position was intense, as it continued for three rounds of voting. Each delegate that went up on stage continually expressed their determination to do well for the party, but eventually in the third round, “Skittles” of Scheiberling won by a landslide of 181 votes.

Finally that night, elections concluded with the chairman position. At this point, the audience was tired of sitting down and constantly expressed “Let’s get this over with!” However, in a dramatic turn of events, this election ended up taking the longest out of the evening, continuing onto four rounds. Truly, this series of elections was the most sensational of the night. The audience wooed, booed, and oohed, as they saw a variety of different events occur such as microphone drops, begging, and jumping onto the stage.

Additionally, one of the most interesting things of the night was that from the second to fourth rounds of the chairmen elections, there was a different “winner,” but rounds still continued due to nominees not getting past the simple majority needed of 126 votes. In the second round between 5 counties’ nominees, Ahnath Masroor (0231) of Fish County had a leading 108 votes; in the third round between 3 counties’ nominees, Nathaniel Pascale (0611) of Spafford County had a leading 74 votes, beating Pedro’s nominee by 1 point; and on the final round between two counties, James Bloom (0577) of Pedro County won with127 votes, earning past the simply majority needed of 126 votes to win the election. As the fourth round of voting finally concluded, citizens sighed in relief and cheered for the conclusion and of elections. Bloom yelled,  “Let’s get out of here,” with burning confidence which was a key factor in his victory.

While it took various rounds, many red faces caused by earnest speeches, and the strength of our citizens to survive from three long hours, the election was magnificent to say the least.
