As both bloggers for the official Boys’ State website and Boys’ State citizens, we all felt it would be appropriate for each of us to briefly write about our experiences and what we have learned from our experience at Boys’ State.  As a whole, I felt that Boys’ State was a very valuable experience for me. I learned more about myself and my place in society.  I would highly recommend Boys’ State to any Boys eligible to attend in the years ahead; it is an experience that has the possibility to change your life for the better.  For anyone not sure on whether they should attend, I would like to emphasize that while there are there marines, It is not really a boot camp. It might be tough the first day or two, but as long as you get involved, you’ll find a place where you fit in and have a great time!
