For those of you who don’t know much about Boys’ State, I am going to give you a look at what nights are like here on campus. Our evening meals are served at 5:15 and the food is always great. Then we have a political caucus for whichever level is scheduled for the day (City, County, and Public). These meetings can last a few hours to all night. On Tuesday, the citizens continued their elections for their respective political parties and each party had to be finished before calling it a night and heading back to our dorms. At ours dorms we get the chance to shower, clean up, on occasion we have room inspections, and some ROTC Cadets give the citizens of their County a little time to ask him questions to get to know him a little more. Lights out is at 10:30 but if we still need to get ready for bed, it’s allowed. Our stay here has been highly eventful and thank you all for checking in on us citizens of Boys’ State. Your support is highly appreciated.
